Zena S. Brown

Zena S. Brown, 76, of Post Rd., Wakefield, and formerly of Milford, CT, died Monday. She was the wife of LeMar W. Brown. Born in Dundalk, MD, she was the daughter of the late Serge N and Zenaida (Zalinsky) DeBeausset. Mrs. Brown was a school teacher for the Milford, CT Public Schools for thirty three years before retiring in 1996. She also taught at Orange Avenue School in Milford, also the Easton and Woodbury schools. She was a 1954 graduate of UCONN with a BS in Eucation. She was a member of The National Educational Association in CT. Besides her husband she leaves a son, LeMar Scott Brown of NH; a daughter Kimberly Ann Brown Dingle DVM of PA and a granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Dingle. She was the sister of the late Hope Massinino and Olga Hulton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in St. Romuald Chapel, Atlantic Ave, Matunuck. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
