Yuko Pearlman

Yuko Takahashi Pearlman, 64, of West Kingston, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Noriko and Kuni Takahashi.

Yuko was born on April 2, 1959 in Sado Island, Japan. Yuko attended and graduated from high school and college in Japan.

She became a licensed Certified Nurse’s Assistant at the Community College of Rhode Island and went on to work at Scallop Shell Nursing Home.

She enjoyed creating games and crafts for her grandchildren, cooking and eating food with her family and close friends, and attending her local church for over the past 20 years. She continually gave her time and resources to help bring local children to church and encourage the shut-ins of South County. Yuko is remembered as a servant who gave herself to her community.

Yuko is survived by her daughters, Jessy Pearlman of West Kingston and Jennifer Gil (husband Jeremy Gil) of Long Beach; her grandchildren, Darcy Tefft and Emma Gil.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM At Curtis Corner Baptist Church, located at 591 Curtis Corner Rd, West Kingston. Her burial will follow at New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingstown Rd, Kingston.
