Wilton Hazard, Jr.

Wilton "Manny" Hazard, Jr., 71, of Wakefield, died Tuesday, March 24th, at home. He was the husband of the late Monica Hazard. Born June 12, 1937 in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Wilton E., Sr. and Phoebe Eva (Reels) Hazard. Mr. Hazard worked for many years at the docks in Pt. Judith. He is survived by nine sons, Joseph, James, Wilton, Herbert, Michael, Dion and Darryll Hazard, Matthew and James Harrington; a daughter, Amanda Hazard; three brothers, Anthony, Nelson and Timothy Hazard; five sisters, Janet Pires, Frances Wills, Donna Sebastian, Lillian and Gwendolyn Hazard; 66 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. A funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, Wakefield. Burial will follow in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
