William Walker, Jr.

October 28, 1949 — June 5, 2010

William Walker, Jr., 60, of Wakefield, died Saturday. He was the husband of Karen (White) Walker. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William and Adeline (Castellucci) Walker. He was a graduate of St. Raphael High School, Pawtucket and then Rhode Island College in 1971. Mr. Walker was employed for the Fletcher Granite Company for many years. He was active in the South Kingstown Little League, serving as president and coaching, enjoyed golfing, fishing with his grandsons, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends. Besides his wife he is survived by three children; Benjamin W. Walker and his wife Loretta, Amy E Walker and Luke W. Walker, all of South Kingstown; two grandsons, Jared and Justin Walker; two sisters, Holly Paolino and Lori Aussant, both of South Kingstown; and a brother Alan Walker of Narragansett. A Celebration of William’s life will be held Wednesday from 1-4 PM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the South Kingstown Little League, PO Box 388, Wakefield, RI 02880.
