William A. Peno

William A. Peno, 45, of Norwich, CT, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Born in Cranston, he was the son of Marian R. Peno of Middletown and the late John L. Hazard. William was a cook at Mohegan Sun Casino. He loved fishing, he was a great story teller, was very proud of his native heritage, enjoyed travelling, and was an avid Washington Redskins Fan. Besides his mother he is survived by his wife Nicole Evangelista; his sons Terronce Evangelista, Tevonte Evangelista, and William Peno, Jr.; his brothers John L. Peno of Middletown, Dwayne A. Hazard of Providence; his sisters Sarah E. Hazard of Middletown, Marijane Hazard of Newport, and Jennifer R. Page of Exeter. Visiting hours are Wednesday, July 18th at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, from 12- 1 pm, followed by a service at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Wakefield.
