William J. Billy Grimes

William J. “Billy” Grimes, 49, passed away unexpectedly Sunday February 9, 2014. He was the longtime companion of Rebecca Floor. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Clinton W. Grimes Jr. and Virginia L. (Smith) Grimes. Billy worked as a carpenter for many years and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was the father of Nia Grimes and stepfather of Ian Crocker; brother of Deborah Castrovillari, Linda Grimes, Christopher Grimes, Stephen Grimes and Richard Grimes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 18th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
