Walter H. Jackson, Sr.

Walter H. Jackson, Sr., 89, of South Kingstown, died Friday. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Smith) Jackson. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Arthur and Clarabelle Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. In his spare time he enjoyed farming and growing flowers. He is survived by three children, Walter H. Jackson, Jr. and John R. Jackson, both of Wakefield, and Judy Chorlog of Miami, FL; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a brother Harold Jackson of California. He was the father of the late Kathryn Jackson. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Monday 5-7 PM. Funeral and burial will be private.
