Virginia Mildred Standeven

Virginia Mildred Standeven, 89, of South Kingstown, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at South Kingstown Nursing Center, West Kingston. She was the wife of the late Walter Standeven Sr. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Allen A. and Hazel (Chase) Holland. Virginia worked in housekeeping for the University of Rhode Island for ten years before retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Rocky Brook Advent Christian Church. She enjoyed Bible Studies at the Curtis Corner Baptist Church and playing bingo. She leaves ten nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the Riverside Cemetery, High St., Wakefield. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
