Virginia Lee Harney

Virginia Lee Harney of Peace Dale, passed away at her home on January 12, 2023, at the age of 90. Born in South Kingstown to her loving parents, the late Antimo and Virginia (Sherman) DiBiasio. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Harney Sr. for 56 years.

Virginia loved camping with her husband, Tom, in their motor home and never missed watching NASCAR racing on the weekends.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Harney Jr. and wife Cynthia, William Harney and fiancé Cathy Calore, Cathy Calore, Virginia L. Harney; eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; siblings Antimo Dibiasio Jr., Mary Allbee, Angela White, and Ernestine Pruden, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 18th from 9:30 - 10:30 am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial to follow in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston, RI.
