Virginia I. Arbige (Casey), 90, of Wakefield, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at South Kingstown Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Thomas P. Arbige. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Francis E. and Annie I. (Baxter) Casey. Virginia was a member of the Green Hill Beach Club and a communicant of St. James Chapel. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. Vitullo and her husband Nicholas of Warwick; six sons, Thomas Arbige Jr. and his wife Joanne of Hope Valley, Raymond and his wife Alida of Cranston, Daniel and his wife Joyce of Richmond, Michael and his wife Susan of Montara, CA, Dennis and his wife Stephanie of Old Saybrook, CT and Timothy of Greenhill; thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Raymond and Francis Casey and Barbara Wynn. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at 8:45 am from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 in St. James Chapel, Matunuck School House Rd., Charlestown. Burial will follow in R.I. Veterans Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
