Vincent Bowler Pouliot was born at South County Hospital on September 22, 1938, the day of the 38 hurricane, and passed away December 11, 2018 at home. He was the husband of Linda E. (King) Pouliot. He was the son of the late Joseph F. and Lois Adeline Stevens (Bowler) Pouliot. Vin was a graduate of South Kingstown High School '56; U.S. Air Force veteran; Patrolman of South Kingstown Police Department; machinist at Quonset Point; member of the Elks, Lion's Club and Masons. He proudest achievement was owner of Aall Tool & Machine. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and singing on Christmas Eve with his siblings. Besides his wife, he is survived by his only child Heather Kisilywicz of Wakefield (formerly of Princeton, NJ); three grandsons Jack, Thomas and Ben; his son-in-law, Robert Kisilywicz of Narragansett; his brother Joseph F. Pouliot, Jr. and wife Sue of Wakefield; sister Judith Taft and husband Donley, of Wakefield; brother-in-law John E. King and wife Vicki of Altus, OK and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by sister Joan F. Tucker and her husband Robert of Wakefield. A heartfelt thank you goes to Doctors Sun and Feria who were patient, respectful and kind. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018, from 10 11 am with a funeral service at 11 am in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the South Kingstown E.M.S., 1790 Kingstown Rd., Wakefield, RI 02879, for their dedicated service to our family and the community.
