Vincent DeFalco Sr., 92, of Riviera Dr., Narragansett, died Tuesday. He was the husband of Rosina E. (Giusti) DeFalco for sixty-nine years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Vincent and Giovanina (DeRosa) DeFalco. Mr. DeFalco was a W.W. II US Army veteran and a recipient of the Silver Star and Purple Heart. He worked in the Adjudication Division for the Veterans Administration for many years before retiring. Mr. DeFalco was a Past Commander of DAV, lifetime member of FOP and a member of Newport Navy League. He was the father of Raymond J. DeFalco Sr. of Narragansett and the late Vincent DeFalco Jr; grandfather of ten and great grandfather of thirteen. He was the brother of the late Joseph DeFalco, Paul DeFalco, Rose DeRobbio, Theresa Rainone and Ralph DeFalco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Monday 4-6 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial with military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary Star of the Sea Church.
