Vincent Cody

Vincent A. Cody (81) of Narragansett, RI and Fort Myers Beach, FL, passed away peacefully at home with his family present on July 10, 2020. Vincent was born in Staten Island, NY on July 14, 1938. Besides his wife of 56 years, Maureen, he is survived by his children Michael Cody (Sopa) of La Puente, CA; Cecilia Tyrell (Steve) of North Kingstown; Paul Cody of Woodland, CA; Ann Marie Cody of East Greenwich; and Jean McCall (Shawn) of Scotch Plains, NJ. He was the loving grandfather of Sean Tyrell and Sarah, Emily and Colin McCall. He is also survived by his brother William Cody (Laura) of Summerville, SC, his sister Mary Ellen Wright (Ted) of Staten Island, NY and sister in law Sharon Martin (Thomas) of Marlborough, MA as well as many nieces and nephews. He retired from MetLife (RI and NYC) after 43 years and spent the last 20 years enjoying retirement, traveling between Narragansett, Manhattan, and Fort Myers Beach. Vincent was a daily communicant along with his wife at St. Thomas More Church, Narragansett, RI and Church of the Ascension, Fort Myers Beach, FL. The family will have a memorial service at a future date.
