Veronica A. Donnelly, 90, of South Kingstown, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 15th. Born in Providence, RI, she was the loving daughter of the late John and Mary (Wallace) Brennan. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Donnelly for 55 years.
Veronica was a graduate of Saint Mary Academy, Bay View and Our Lady of Fatima nursing school.
She is survived by her 7 daughters; Kathryn Upham (Stephen); Jeanne Donnelly Taylor; Joanne Bellemore (Robert); Marybeth Mongeon (Michael); Elizabeth Donnelly Shea (Joseph); Anne Donnelly Schreiber (Kenneth); and Patricia Donnelly Golden (Robert). Veronica also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her siblings, Mary W. Brennan, Marcella Doyle, and John P. Brennan; as well as her newborn granddaughter, Meghan Upham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, February 23rd in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston, 02881. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 301 S. County Trail, Exeter, 02822.
