Valerie Neuse, daughter of Richard Neuse of Kingston and the late Marjorie Neuse, died Saturday. Born and educated in South County, she graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Spanish which served her admirably in her job assisting Hispanic immigrants adjusting to life in the US and in her next job as a teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL) primarily to executives of European and Japanese automobile manufacturers. Valerie is survived by her companion, Alan Metivier, of East Greenwich; her brother, Thomas of Maryland, his wife Amelia; and sister Milena Neuse of Oregon and her husband Arnon and their daughter Lilith. The funeral service will be held at the New Fernwood Cemetery on Saturday, October 25th, at 1:30.
