Tyler M. Manning

June 11, 1989 — December 14, 2017

Tyler M. Manning, 28 of Carolina RI, passed away unexpectedly on December 14. He will forever be the beloved son of Dee Dee Bitgood (Chad Jackson) and Mark Manning. Tyler cherished his sister, Macey Manning (Brandon Metelski), and his nephew Grayson. His loving grandparents are Lois Bitgood and the late Roy Bitgood, and Keith and Lea Manning. Tyler was also the nephew of Wayne "Scotty" Bitgood, Leila Connolly, and the late John Connolly. He also admired his two cousins, Graham and Evan Connolly. Tyler was most recently employed at Dana Carlson Enterprises, and also worked for Rhody Landscape & Construction. He was also a long-time employee and close friend of the Charlestown Mini-Super. An avid Green Bay Packer fan, Tylers knowledge, dedication, and loyalty to his team were unparalleled. Tyler began his own football career at age 5 with the Chariho Cowboys organization, and played for several years. In 2001, he earned the opportunity to compete in the National Championship with his "boys" in Florida. His love for the outdoors included hunting, snowboarding, riding his 4-wheeler, and being an avid fisherman. He especially enjoyed his time spent with his father, family, and friends at the Fish Camp. Tyler will always be remembered for his quick wit, beautiful smile, and his ability to make everyone laugh. The family is hosting a celebration of Tylers life on Thursday, December 28th from 3-6PM at Poncho OMalleys, 140 Point Judith Road in Narragansett. All friends and family members are invited to share their most precious memories and special moments of Tylers life with all of those in attendance. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations to the Chariho Cowboys, PO Box 224, Wyoming RI 02898 would be greatly appreciated.
