Todd Michael Evans

Todd “Budda” Evans, 57, of Narragansett, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 8, 2021. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Charles Bill Evans and Mary (Martella) Evans. When Todd was younger, he worked at the family-owned Evans Market. He then went on to work for the Town of South Kingstown Parks and Recreation Department and Highway Department. He was a long time tireless, active member of the South Kingstown Elks Lodge and the South Kingstown Forest Fire Department. In his spare time, Todd enjoyed working the “chain gang” at the URI football games, fishing, and was a fan of NASCAR, the Cleveland Indians, and an avid Minnesota Vikings supporter. Todd is survived by his mother Mary (Martella) Evans, his brother Craig Evans, and his longtime life partner Catherine Harvey; two stepsons Jamie and Joey Harvey; his niece Lauren Evans; his grandchildren Aili Ann, Lila, Easton, and Callie Harvey; his uncle Dale Evans and his wife Carol and his aunt Linda Carr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 10:00am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, South Kingstown. A celebration of Todd’s life will be held June of 2021.
