Timothy V. Hanrahan, 67, of Charlestown, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026 at Westerly Hospital. He was the husband of Lynne (Fontaine) Hanrahan. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late David and Dorothy (Linnehan) Hanrahan.

Timothy was a devoted member of Rock Steady Boxing. He enjoyed bowling, watching professional wrestling, and going to the movies. Above all, he cherished his role as a foster parent with his wife, Lynne, and treasured their time together at their second home in New Hampshire.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Victor Major and his wife Holly, Adam Hanrahan and his wife Desiree Webster, and Andrew Hanrahan and his wife Samantha Austin, four grandchildren, Ayden Durham, Lucas Major, Lilly Major and Patrick Heath. He is also survived by seven siblings, David Hanrahan, Maureen Paul, Paul Hanrahan, Kathleen Rossi, Susan Velleca, Michael Hanrahan, Thomas Hanrahan and five nieces and five nephews.

Services for Timothy will be private and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
