Thomas Angelo Pullano, 75, of Wakefield, Rhode Island, passed away on December 31st after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Tom was born in Providence to Arthur and Yolanda (Igliozzi) Pullano. He received his undergraduate degree from Northwest Missouri State University, and received a Masters degree from Providence College. He went on to work in the Providence school system for 30 years before retiring in 1995. Through his work, he significantly impacted the lives of many children and families. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 52 years, Geraldine (Coppolino), and a loving father to his son T.J.. Tom was a gentle soul who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures (especially a good meal) and was the life of any party. A lifelong Yankees fan, he loved playing and watching baseball and following the stock market. He enjoyed socializing, especially on the beach, and could always be counted on to arrive at someone’s house carrying a dozen doughnuts and to lend a helping hand. Tom got along with everyone, and will be remembered for his generous spirit and a life filled with family and friends. In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by his daughter-in-law Michelle, granddaughter Elsa (who always made him smile), brother Arthur and sister-in-law Paula, and a large extended family. Due to COVID restrictions, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
