Thomas W. McCullough, 71, of Wakefield, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2016. He was the loving husband of Lee Anne (Clarke) McCullough for 42 years. Born in South Kingstown he was the son of the late Norman and Mary (Arundel) McCullough, he lived his entire life in Narragansett and Wakefield. Tom attended Narragansett and South Kingstown schools and graduated from Fryberg Academy in 1965. Upon graduation, he attended URI until he joined the Army and became an officer. After his time in the Army, he worked at various jobs throughout his career. He retired from DeWal Industries in 2010. Tom could often be found working on the hot rod truck that he and Kyle built together and attended car shows. His other passions were cranes – collecting and building crane models and crossword puzzles. He was a great model maker, creating most of his work from scratch. Besides his wife he is survived by his son, Jonathan; his brother, Bruce and his sister, Meridith Reinhart and husband Tom of Seattle, Washington; as well as three nephews, Max, Sam and Ben Reinhart and a niece, Susan McCullough-Gardner. He is predeceased by his son, Kyle and his brother, Norman. His funeral and burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
