Thomas A. Knowles

Thomas A Knowles, 64, a resident of Uncasville, Connecticut, departed from his life unexpectedly on Sunday September 15, 2024. Born on May 9, 1960, in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Elmer and Murial (Kenyon) Knowles and predeceased by his wife, Debora Knowles.

Thomas leaves behind a legacy through his children: Crystal Rivera (Julio), Trasielyn Ademi (Kadri), Ali Knowles, Megan Knowles, and Brooklyn Knowles. He was the grandfather of Malaya, Cruz, Zian and Leila, and by his siblings Timothy Knowles (Wendy), Wanda Knowles, Micah Knowles (Ann), Rebecca DeLuise (Paul), and Matthew Knowles (Georgette, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Tom served in the Marines and reserves right after high school. He enjoyed a career in HVAC for several years before embracing his role as logistics manager at Foxwoods casino. In his later years, he found joy in being a jack of all trades, tackling a variety of projects for his clients - from constructing decks to installing air conditioning units-always ready to lend a helping hand.

Tom found joy in sitting by the water or taking a walk to find sea glass. He often enjoyed leisurely drives, taking in the sights around him.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 5-7 pm in Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street Wakefield, RI. A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11 am in Avery Storti Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Red Shirt Fridays, supporting those who serve and have served.
