Thomas F. Dr. Head

Dr. Thomas F. Head, Jr., 58, of Narragansett and formerly of New York City, died Wednesday, November 12th. Born at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Dr. Thomas. F. Sr., and Dorothy (Minor) Head. Dr. Head graduated from Portsmouth Abbey High School and then received his Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees from Harvard University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He was a Professor of Ancient History at Hunter College in Manhattan for many years. He is survived by many cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Tuesday, November 18th in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
