Therese L. Dubois

Theresa L. (Laquerre) Dubois, 92, formerly of Coventry, RI passed away peacefully on Sunday, March29, 2020. She was the loving wife for 63 years of Francis M. Dubois. Born in Blackstone, MA on September 1, 1927, she was the daughter of Evariste and Rose-Alma (Vadnais) Laquerre. She is the devoted mother of Richard and his wife Jessica of Wakefield, RI and Diane Pereira and her husband David of Richmond, RI. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Melissa, Matthew, Erin, Jonathan, Shannon and Bridgette. She was the sister of the late Raymond, Aram, Rita, Roland, Leo and Madeleine Laquerre. Theresa’s fondest memories were being a full time mom and home maker to her children and husband. She was a kind, loving and selfless person who always put her family first. Her father passed away during the great depression when she was just 6 years old, and she devoted herself to caring for her mother. She enjoyed sewing and knitting and made many wonderful items for her family which will always be cherished. She doted on her grandchildren, and gave them many wonderful, lasting memories. She will be greatly missed by her family, and we will forever keep her in our hearts. A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
