Theresa Gietka

Theresa A. Gietka, 94, of South Kingstown, RI, and formerly of Baltimore, MD and Morehead City, NC, died Sunday at her residence. She was the wife of the late Louis M. Gietka. Born in Baltimore, MD she was a daughter of the late James and Angela (Berdych) Kucharski and she had lived most of her life in Baltimore and Morehead City, before moving to RI four years ago. She was a wonderful seamstress who loved crocheting, dancing, playing cards, and mostly raising her family. She was the mother of, Virginia Stiepock of Wakefield, RI, Barbara Perry of Pittsburgh, PA, Bonita Quinn of Lorton, VA, Louis M. Gietka, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Teri A. Loane of Edenton, NC, and the late Gary L. Gietka, sister of Martha Kiper and Margaret Sabotka, both of Baltimore, MD, and she leaves 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Burial will be private in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Baltimore.
