Terrie Ann Celentano

October 5, 1951 — September 7, 2024

Terrie Ann Celentano, 72, of Wakefield, Rhode Island, passed away on Saturday, September 7th, after a long illness surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Gregory P. Celentano for 52 years. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late James Holl and Mary Holl (Calo).


Terrie was an avid quilter, had a love for gardening and her beloved pets. Terrie worked for Bryant College and CCRI before retiring in 2016. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and most of all, being with her granddaughter, Gianna.


Besides her husband, Terrie leaves behind her son Greg Celentano and daughter-in-law Aimee Celentano; one sister, Anne Marie Hannigan, and her granddaughter Gianna Celentano. She also leaves behind nieces Raegan Donnelly, Kristen Hannigan, and Kelsey Santurri (Hannigan) and nephews James Holl III and Jonas Holl. She was the sister of the late Jim Holl.


Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 9 am to 10 am in Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield, RI. A funeral service will immediately follow at 10 am in Avery Storti Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Potter League for Animals, 87 Oliphant Lane, Middletown, RI.
