Sylvio Joseph Desalvo

Sylvio Joseph DeSalvo, 95, of Kingston, died Thursday. He was the beloved husband of the late Catherine H. (LaChance) DeSalvo. Born in Blackstone, MA, he was a son of the late Caesar and Ursula (Piedtranduono) DeSalvo. He is survived by four children, Douglas DeSalvo, Caesar DeSalvo, Carol DeSalvo, and Marsha Thibodeau, and many grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
