Susan was a graduate of West Warwick High School and continued her education at the University of Rhode Island and Boston University, where she earned her Master's Degree in Social Work. She valued learning, growth, and thoughtful engagement, qualities that carried through every aspect of her life.
Susan was deeply committed to public service and civic engagement. A dedicated Social Worker, she devoted her career to helping others and was a compassionate and remarkable caregiver. She was elected to serve as Chair of the East Greenwich Historic District Commission, where she provided strong leadership, including efforts to renew and restore the Old Kent County Courthouse on Main Street. Her other public projects included the design and construction of the Kid's Kastle Playground at Hanaford Elementary School in East Greenwich, leaving a lasting impact on the community and the generations to come.
Most of all, she loved her family and devoted her life to unconditionally supporting her sons in all their endeavors. She is survived by her two sons, Daniel Levin and Stephen Levin, and a nephew, Matthew Rozzero. She was the sister of the late Sharron Rozzero.
Funeral and burial for Susan will be private.
