Susan M. Garretson

Susan M. Garretson (Hranica), 61, of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Garretson.

Born in Sarver, Pennsylvania, Susan was the daughter of the late Paul and Betty (McCracken) Hranica. Throughout her lifetime, she profoundly impacted numerous individuals as a mother, wife, mimi, friend, and nurse. Her enduring legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will continue to resonate within all who knew her.

Susan is survived by her husband, Thomas, their two cherished sons, Michael Garretson and Eric Garretson, and her grandson, Oliver Garretson. She also leaves behind her two brothers, Michael Hranica and his wife Helen, and Ed Hranica and his wife Donna.

A later date will be set for Susan's memorial service. Family and friends will be notified with the details once they are finalized.
