Susan Mary Deluise

Susan M. DeLuise, 69, passed away after a brief illness on August 26, 2024, at Lahey Hospital. Born on March 27, 1955, in Providence, RI, she was a lifelong learner who graduated from the University of Rhode Island.

Susan was known for her love of reading and word games, often spending hours engrossed in a book or challenging her mind with puzzles. Her love for the beach and her cat also brought her immense joy, making her days brighter and full of warmth.

She leaves behind a loving family of 6 brothers and sisters and their spouses, many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Gracie.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Mary A. and Frank J. DeLuise.

In accordance with her wishes, services will be private. Susan will be remembered for her gentle spirit and her passion for the simple pleasures in life. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to a local animal shelter, honoring her love for animals.
