Steven P. Carr

Steven P. Carr, 64, of South Kingstown, died Sunday at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Daniel W. and Lillian E. (Roberts) Carr. Steve worked for the University of Rhode Island for many years before retiring. After retiring he was a bus monitor for several years. He was a member of the Narragansett Lions Club, South Kingstown Elks BPOE Lodge #1899, Wakefield Fire Department and a former volunteer harbor master. He leaves several cousins. He was the brother of the late Carol Page. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday in the Peace Dale Congregational Church, 261 Columbia St., Peace Dale. Burial will be private. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Elks Lodge, 60 Belmont Avenue, Wakefield, RI 02879.
