Long time Narragansett resident Stephen Patrick Turcotte passed away at home on Tuesday, June 25th. He was born April 30, 1960 in Pawtucket, RI to Robert and Ann Turcotte. He was a graduate of Pawtucket West High School and was employed by the town of So. Kingstown, RI as a police department technician. He will be remembered as a proud and loving father, the life of the party, who enjoyed golf with his friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his uncle and aunt of Pawtucket, RI. Steve is survived by his son, Corey Pena of East Providence, and Corey's mother, Robin Pena Brown of Washington, DC, and Corey's children, Jace Pena, Jaden Pena, Justin Pena and Jaylee Pena. Also Stephen's children, Maxine and Taylor Turcotte and the children's mother, Margaret (Margo) Peters. Also surviving are his siblings Robert (Debbie) Turcotte of Cranston, RI, Michaela (Thomas) Mooney of South Kingstown, RI, Thomas (Julia) Turcotte of San Antonio, TX, and Mary Ellen (Michael) Maynard of Pawtucket, RI., and numerous nieces and a nephew. Visiting hours will be held on Friday evening, June 28th from 5–8 pm at Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Saturday, June 29th, at St. Mary Star of the Sea, 864 Pt. Judith Rd, Narragansett, RI.
