Stephen K. Tuoni

Stephen K. Tuoni, 55, of West Kingstown, passed away unexpectedly at home, Friday November 4th. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was a son of Richard Tuoni of West Kingston and Zelda (Ritzen) Tuoni of New Mexico. He was the stepson of Christine Tuoni of West Kingston Stephen was a passionate Philadelphia professional sports fan. He also was very active in sporting events in South County, devoting much of his time to umpiring and refereeing local games. Besides his parents, he is survived by a son, Michael Cascio of Colorado; four siblings, Matthew Tuoni, currently residing in China, Carl Tuoni of West Kingston, Sheila Kenyon of West Kingston, and Joel Tuoni of Massachusetts. Visiting hours will be held at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Wednesday, 5-7 pm. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday from 12 - 5 pm at the Richmond Grange, 680 Usquepaugh Road (Rt. 138), West Kingston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to Thundermist Health Center, Attn: Development, 171 Service Avenue, Building # 2, Warwick, RI 02886.
