Stella I. Tucker

Stella I. Tucker, formerly of Curtis Corner Road, died Sunday. She was the beloved wife of the late Maurice L. Tucker. Born in Hope Valley, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mattie (Clarke) Stone. Mrs. Tucker was a member of the Perryville Grange and a former member of the Curtis Corner Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Maurice l. Tucker, Jr. of Charlestown; a daughter Linda May of West Kingston; a brother, Frank Clark Stone of Hope Valley; a sister, Eleanor Caswell of Hope Valley; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Thelma Whaley, Ruth Reposa, and Charlene Kenney. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
