Stanley M. Bates

Stanley M. Bates, 33, of Kingston, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Born in South Kingstown, he was the husband of the late Rhiannon Aguirre-Bates and fiancé of Kelly Fanning. Stanley worked for the Providence Journal and enjoyed fishing, play station 3 and spending time with his family. He also leaves his daughters, Brooklyn Raine Aguirre-Bates, Emma Jean Gertrude Aguirre-Bates and Josslyn Jewel Bates; his parents, Yvonne Sampson and Stanley N. Bates and his wife Dawna; a sister Monica Golding and her husband Lawrence; and nephews Rayshawn Golding and Dontae Golding. Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2013 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield.
