Stacia Marie DiLello, 82, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on January 15, 2025.
Born on September 6, 1942, in Providence, RI, she was the beloved wife of the late Clayton F. DiLello, with whom she shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. Stacia was the daughter of the late Michael Swider and Stacia (Soja) Swider-Lemerick, and stepdaughter of the late Daniel (Pa) Lemerick.
Stacia was a devoted homemaker and cherished her family above all else. She was predeceased by her siblings, William, Michael, Walter, Donald, Frank, George, Allen, and Eddy Swider.
She is survived by her siblings Leo Swider of Smithfield, Shirley Medeiros of Warwick, Judy Gagner of Cranston, and Carol Samos of Florida. She also leaves behind her children, Brenda L. Celani (Domenic) of Hope Valley, Pamela L. Petrangelo (Dino) of Hope Valley, and Clayton F. DiLello (Diane) of Warwick; her ten grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Stacia’s vibrant personality shone through her love of shopping, especially for sandals, her fondness for casino visits, and her passion for traveling. She enjoyed camping trips and cherished cruising to Bermuda with her family.
At Stacia’s request, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hope Health Hospice and Palliative Care (hopehealthco.org), whose compassionate care allowed Stacia to spend her final days with dignity and grace.
