Shirley Carol Seidel

Shirley Carol Seidel, 83, of Narragansett, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Edward H. and Agnes G. (Grylls) Pearson. Shirley was the beloved wife of Ralph H. Seidel and they were married for 64 wonderful years. Shirley worked as a Teacher’s Aide for the Narragansett Public School system for 20 years before retiring in 1995. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing backgammon, bocce, cards, and shuffleboard; as well as wintering in Boynton Beach, FL. Most of all, she loved to spend time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Shirley is survived by her daughters Cindy A. Borsay and her husband Donald and Susan L. Haberle and her husband Charles. She was the grandmother of Kailee Wright, Nicholas, Kevin, Bradley, and Brittney Borsay, Justin, Abby, and Katelyn Haberle; and had 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Harold E. and Edward H. Pearson, Jr. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 10am-11am, followed by a funeral service at 11am at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
