Shirley Champlin

Shirley A (White) Champlin, 89 of Weaver Hill Rd, Coventry, formerly of Narragansett, passed away on January 4, 2026. She was the wife of late Arthur G Champlin. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Freida (Robinson) White.

Shirley is survived by her children, Mark (Ann) Champlin of West Warwick, Brian (Mary-Beth Flood) Champlin of Hope Valley, Blake (Stephanie) Champlin of Narragansett. Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her twin, Kirk White, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Richard White.

She was an active member of the Church of Ascension in Wakefield, RI.

A funeral service for Shirley will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 11 AM in the Ascension Episcopal Church, 370 Main Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Calling hours will be held Friday, from 4 to 6 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
