On August 24, 2018, Sheridan Bernard Darcy, 57, of Narragansett, moved on to a better world filled with the love by which he lived his life. Sheridan leaves behind a partner who loves him deeply, Laura Lee Costello, of Narragansett and a family whose lives he enriched beyond bounds Leo, Kathleen, Chris, Joey and Cormick Costello, his brother, Willard Wilkinson, sister, Josie Underwood and two nephews. Sheridan was born in Bermuda on February 11, 1961, the son of Joseph and Alsess (Simons) Darcy. He brought the joy and sunshine of his island home everywhere he went. Sheridan was an "OB" original bricoleur - fashioning anything into something. He was an accomplished builder, artist and mechanic and an experienced restaurateur. Sheridan was a soulful musician (percussion, vocals, bass and keyboards) who travelled through the US and Canada with multiple bands and worked locally and in Boston as a DJ. Sheridan was a Renaissance man with the soul of a saint that he used to transform everything into love. Sheridan, dear Partner, Son, Brother, Friend "Quo Fata Ferunt" whither the fates carry us - will always with be with your love. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, September 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Avery -Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston, RI. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sheridan to the Sheridan Bernard Darcy Memorial Fund (https://www.gofundme.com/sheridan-darcy-memorial-fund) will be appreciated. Donations will assist to memorialize Sheridan and promote causes he supported. .
