Shelley E. Walmsley

Shelley E. Walmsley, 62, of East Providence, passed away at Rhode Island Hospital after a courageous battle with ALS. Born in Providcence, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth V.W. and Esther (Reels) Brown. Shelley worked in customer service for NationalGrid, Blue Cross and Bank of America before retiring due to illness. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and spending time with family and friends. She was the mother of Bryan K. Brown and Danyne E. Brown both of East Providence; sister of Ronald H. Brown of South Kingstown, Marjorie L. Waters and Pamela L. Brown both of Riverside, Kyle A. Brown of Cranston and the late Kenneth V.W. Brown Jr.; grandmother of Essence N. Cardoza and Danielle E. Brown. She also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday February 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private.
