Sean C. Stanton

Sean C. Stanton, 54, of Narragansett, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 9, 2022. He was the son of Judy (Champlin) Stanton and the late Courtland Stanton III. Sean graduated from Narragansett High School. He then went onto complete courses through the Rhode Island Apprenticeship Council and the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the Electrical Industry. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union #99 of Rhode Island. Sean was an avid music lover, and many knew him by his nickname “DJ Stoney B’. He was also a proud member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. Besides his mother, Sean is survived by his son Jacobi, daughters Ariana, Alexandra, Haillie and Aiyana, grandson Jacobi, Jr., sister Cynthia Stanton, and brothers John Lima and Dustin Peno, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Sean lived his life to the fullest and was loved by many. He will be forever missed and always remembered. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 1 pm in the Narragansett Indian Tribe Burial Grounds on Indian Church Road in Charlestown. Burial to follow will be private.
