Scott O'Donnell

Scott I. O'Donnell, 60, of Wakefield, passed away Thursday, January 15th , 2026 at South
County Hospital. He was the husband of the late Joanne "Jody" (Disarro) O'Donnell.

Born in Providence, he was a son of Joan M. (Thibodeau) O'Donnell and the late Alvin
O'Donnell.

Scott worked as a pharmacist for 36 years, spending most of his career at Kent County
Hospital, where he was dedicated to caring for others. He found joy in cooking, music, photography, playing his self-made guitar, art, skiing, and occasional surfing. A devoted college basketball fan, he especially enjoyed sharing his enthusiasm for the game with others.

Besides his mother, Scott is survived by his son Ian O'Donnell, his siblings, Sean
O'Donnell and Shannon Roberson, sisters and brother-in-law Jamie Disarro Atwal, Justine Caccia and Eugene Disarro Jr, father-in-law Eugene Disarro, Sr., and nieces and nephews Nolan O'Donnell, Brendan O'Donnell, Luke Roberson, Liam Roberson, Nina Atwal, Angeli Atwal, Robbi Ferretti, and Krissi Resmini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 24th, 2026 at 10 AM in
St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will be private. Calling
hours will be held on Friday, January 23rd, 2026 from 5 to 8 PM in the Avery-Storti
Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
