Sarah M. “Sally” (Sherman) Reposa, 69, of Liberty Lane, West Kingston, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 20, 2017 at home. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Rowland and Elizabeth (Teft) Sherman. She is survived by Lonnie Reposa and their children, Arthur J. Reposa, David S. Reposa, Melissa (Reposa) Sherman and her husband Daniel; beloved grandchildren, Zachary, David and Elizabeth Sherman; sisters, Dolly Lillibridge and Carol McGovern and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Gardner, Rowland, George, Neil Sherman and Emily (Sherman) Richards. Sally worked for the South Kingstown School Department as the “lunch lady” then as a school bus driver for many years. She often drove special runs for the football and wrestling teams. She was also known as the “pickle lady” and sold her jams and jellies at the Washington County Fair. She will be sadly missed by many. The funeral will be Saturday, October 28th at 10:00 a.m. in the Curtis Corner Baptist Church, 591 Curtis Corner Rd., Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Friday, October 27th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Curtis Corner Baptist Church.
