Sarah Rose Cofoni Clark

January 7, 1943 — August 24, 2018

Sarah Rose Clark (Cofoni), 75, of Narragansett, died peacefully on August 24, 2018. Cherished wife of Joseph F. Clark for 54 years, Sarah loved her family, friends and life. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Sarah taught for many years in the Chariho and North Kingstown school districts. Her favorite pastimes included gardening, playing Bridge and Mah Jongg and all activities with her grandchildren. Born and raised in Westerly, Sarah was the daughter of Sylvester Cofoni and the late Sarah Cofoni. In addition to her husband and father, Sarah is survived by her daughter Amy Healey and husband Peter and their children Timothy Clark, Matthew Joseph and Caroline Sarah of North Kingstown, RI; daughter Beth DAlleva and husband Mark and their children Andrew Clark, Ryan Mark and Daniel Joseph of Hopkinton, MA; and daughter Ellen Clark and husband Jonathan Kelsey and their children Adelaide Rose and Parker Francis of Annapolis, MD. She is also survived by her siblings Sylvester Cofoni, Jr. and wife Diane, Paul Cofoni and wife Karen, and Mary Cole and husband Jeff; her in-laws Louis and Beverly Clark and Pam and Wayne Zdanowicz; and many dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of life will be held at Noon on Thursday, August 30 at Sunset Farm's Kinney Bungalow, 505 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Massachusetts General Hospital ALS Clinic and Research Program in Sarahs memory.
