Sandra P. Archambault, 79, of Narragansett passed away peacefully on Friday, November 12th. She was the beloved wife of the late Orian A. Archambault for 52 years. Born in Rockville Centre, New York, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Pearl Field. Sandra worked for the U.S. Post Office for 30 years. She was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and a member of its Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Sandra and her husband Orian had a home in Naples, Florida for 18 years where they spent many enjoyable winters with their Florida friends. Sandra loved being on the water, she especially enjoyed any type of fishing. She and her husband enjoyed cruising on their trawler “Macbeth” along the East Coast, Intercoastal Waterway, in the Florida Keys and Canadian Seaways for 17 years. Sandra was a life-long member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, serving as the local chapter president for several years. She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed watching all sports, particularly when the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots where playing. She was also the coach of her daughter’s state championship softball team. Sandra is survived by her two loving children, Renee A. Hayes and her husband Matthew of Warren, RI and David A. Archambault and his wife Tricia of Narragansett, RI. Sandra was the grandmother of Connor Reilly, Cameron Reilly, Jake Archambault, Nick Archambault, Sidney Pimental and Gabriella Pimental. Calling hours will be Monday, November 22nd from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, Wakefield, RI followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 22nd at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Road, Narragansett, RI. Burial will be private
