Samantha was born July 30, 1974 and unexpectedly passed away December 18, 2014 at the age of forty. Samantha graduated Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, with a major in Education. She began her career in Washington DC at the National Cathedral's Beauvoir School. Over the years she has taught in the public Washington and private Maryland school systems. As a specialist in Early Childhood Development, her last teaching assignment was in Rhode Island. In addition, she was on the Board of Directors at Thundermist in Wakefield,Rhode Island. She was a member of the Daughters of the AmericanRevolution and the National Society of Magna Charta Dames. Growing up she spent those warm summers at the family's home in Charlestown,beside the pond. Her love of children, her spirited personality, her brilliance, and her demonstrated love of animals will be missed. She leaves her Mum and Dad, Craig and Clohesey, her Brother, Christian and his wife Cora. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd, at the Cross Mills Baptist Church, 4403 Old Post Road, Charlestown, RI at 1:00 pm.
