Salvatore J. Conti

Salvatore J. Conti, 77, of South Kingstown, RI and North Port, FL, died Monday June 1. He was the husband of Theresa (Jaworski) Conti. Born in Hartford, CT, he was the son of the late James and Margaret (Valluzzi) Conti. Mr. Conti was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was the owner of JAGS Service Station for many years before retiring. He was a member of Punta Gorda Elks Lodge 2606, North Port VFW, enjoyed bowling and golf. Besides his wife he leaves a step-daughter, Debra Blanchard (Michael) of Bristol, CT; a step-son, Christopher Delvecchio (Terilee) of Coventry, CT; a sister Maryanne Twarkins of East Windsor, CT; a brother, John Conti (Joan) of East Hartford, CT; four grandchildren, Carissa, Valerie, Matthew and Celia. He was the uncle of the late Mark Conti. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 AM in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck Schoolhouse Rd., Charlestown, RI 02813.
