Ruth M. Gardiner, 97, of Charlestown, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 at home. Born in Exeter, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Rowland and Margaret (Ferguson) Babbitt.

She is survived by her two daughters, Margaret Cole and Donna Heeks, and thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Ruth was the mother of the late Edward S. Lillibridge, and Susan King. (You may add additional relatives here).

A funeral home service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 10, 2026 in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Wakefield.
