Russell N. Noka, Jr.

Russell N. Noka Jr., 75, of North Castle Way, Charlestown, died Saturday at home. He was the husband of Carol (Northup) Hazard Noka. Mr. Noka worked in central receiving at the University of Rhode Island for sixteen years before retiring. He was a member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. He was the father of Donna Noka and Rashell Noka of Peace Dale and April Noka-Cook of Wakefield; brother of Donald Noka and Barbara Walmsley of Kingston and grandfather of six. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday 4-6 PM followed by a funeral service at 6 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private.
