Rudolph Recher, 85, of Wakefield, died Tuesday. He was the beloved husband of Janis (Cottrell) Recher, for 61 years. Born in Browns Mills, NJ, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Louise (Niemann) Recher. He graduated from Brown University in 1949. Mr. Recher was employed for the Amica Insurance Company, retiring as Branch Manager. He served in the US Army Air Corp during WW II. He enjoyed golfing, reading, wood carving, and his family. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Bruce C. Recher of Deephaven, MN; a daughter, Debra R. Possidente of Saratoga Springs, NY; and five grandchildren, Jeff and Mark Recher, Peter, Maria and Thomas Possidente. He was the brother of the late Theodore Recher and Louise Recher. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the Kingston Congregational Church, 2610 Kingstown Road, Kingston. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
