Rosemary Ann Northup

Rosemary A. Northup, 60, of Wakefield, died Saturday. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late A. James, Sr. and Anna Elizabeth (Perry) DeCubellis. Mrs. Northup was an Administrative Assistant at the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Library and Information Studies for 34 years, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed expressing her creative abilities; loved gardening, music, walks on the beach, cooking and eating, sewing, and the computer. She is survived by a son, Jeremy William Northup and his fiancé, Jessica Moody of Troy, NY; seven sisters and brothers, Barbara M. Janson of Morristown, Tennessee, John E. DeCubellis, Sr. of Wakefield, Vicki Lynn Uthus of Moneta, Virginia, Anthony G DeCubellis of Manheim, Pennsylvania, Maria F. Brown of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Katherine A. Young of Bristol, Connecticut, and her twin, Rosanne M. Lyskawa of Wakefield ; many nieces and nephews; and her great friend and neighbor, Chuck Jacques. She was the sister of the late Phyllis A. Hinners and A. James DeCubellis, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
